When Annie reached out, she had already applied for more than 130 jobs in six months with no luck. The silence and rejections made her question whether she’d ever find a role in Australia.

But in just a few months of working together, she completely turned things around. Annie landed a full-time HR Analyst offer from Wesley Mission, one of Australia’s oldest non-profit organisations (established in 1812), dedicated to community and mental health services.

Since she’s still completing her degree, the company offered her a part-time start with a transition to full-time after graduation — and with a starting salary close to six figures.

The best part? Wesley Mission was the first company she interviewed with, and she aced it, even though she told me that morning she was feeling unwell! 🥲

A few weeks after starting, she shared what her manager told her during a team lunch:

“My CV stood out among over 200 applications within three days of the job posting. That’s thanks to Chloe. She helped me rebuild my CV, tailor it to each JD, and refine every little detail. Without her, I wouldn’t have landed this job. It still feels surreal to have secured a full-time offer before finishing my master’s.”

From months of rejection to securing a dream HR role, Annie’s story shows what can happen when you combine persistence, preparation, and the right support system. 💪
